A woman injured in a fiery crash in south Nashville Sunday night has died.
Police said Lindsey Shoenberger, 26, was driving east on Old Hickory Boulevard near Nipper’s Corner when another driver veered across three lanes of traffic and struck her vehicle head-on.
Shoenberger was critically injured in the crash. She later died from her injuries.
Her 9-month-old daughter was in a child safety seat in the rear of the vehicle. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, 44-year-old Matoufa Sayed, remains in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
