Carson City, NV : 55-year-old man killed in motorcyle crash on Lakeview Hill early Saturday morning, October 22, 2016

A 55-year-old Carson City man was killed in the early morning hours Saturday after eluding Carson City Sheriff’s Officers on his motorcycle.

Sheriff Ken Furlong said officers were pursuing the man from the downtown area, however officers lost sight of him in a road construction zone on Lakeview Hill.

As patrol units searched the area more thoroughly, they discovered the crash location and adult male driver, who had died at the scene. No other injuries or riders were reported. The crash was found at 3:46 a.m.

This accident is being investigated by the Nevada Highway Patrol, at the request of the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. Northbound traffic flow from Carson Street to I-580 was re-routed for accident reconstruction efforts.
