Cartersville, GA : A man driving a four-wheeler on Highway 293 on Saturday, October, 21st 2017
A man driving a four-wheeler on Highway 293 was sent to the hospital Saturday afternoon after, according to witnesses, his ATV flipped over and threw him into the pavement.
According to Bartow County EMS Public Information Officer Brad Cothran, the accident happened near East?Green Ridge Road in Cartersville.
Multiple agencies responded to find a 50-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with obvious head trauma. While being treated, the man regained consciousness, but was confused and unaware of what happened. He also had numerous cuts, abrasions and a partial left ear detachment.
A medical helicopter was called in to transport the man to Grady Memorial?Hospital.
He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
