GUILFORD, CT : 85-year-old Guilford man killed in crash on Thursday, 15th August 2019

An 85-year-old Guilford man was identified by police on Friday as the person killed in a three-vehicle crash on Thursday.
The victim was Richard Walkden, 85, of Guilford, Sgt. Christopher Massey said.
The crash happened at the intersection of Route 80 and Hoop Pole Road around noon Thursday, Massey said. He said there were “multiple injuries, including one fatality” — Walkden.
The crash remains under investigation by Guilford police. Anyone with information is asked to call 203-453-8061.
