New York, NY : Couple killed in car crash at Queens parking lot on Sunday, November 2, 2014

Police say an 87-year-old driver and his 89-year-old passenger were killed when the man lost control of his car and crashed while attempting to exit a parking lot in Queens. It happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday at the College Point Shopping Center at 132nd Street and 20th Avenue. Police say the car struck an unoccupied minivan and a light pole. The names of the victim have not yet been released. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not say what caused the accident.
