Durant, OK : One man dead in wreck on 78 and McKennon Road on Thursday afternoon, March 16, 2017

A wreck on Highway 78 and McKennon Road, outside Durant has left one man dead. Oklahoma Highway Parol troopers say that a car heading south, turned onto McKennon Road in front of the northbound pickup.

The driver of that car was taken to the Durant Hospital and pronounced dead there. The driver of the pickup was taken to the Denison hospital. This accident happened during the 5pm hour Thursday afternoon.
