Las vegas , NV: 21- years old motorcyclist Critically injured and another minorly injured in Crash hit a truck with flashing directional lights on Friday early morning ,April 3rd 2015

Police say a 21-year-old motorist was badly hurt when the car he was driving hit a truck with flashing directional lights diverting traffic around workers repairing a fence at the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.

Las Vegas police say the 35-year-old driver of the flatbed received minor injuries when his flatbed truck was pushed into another flatbed next to a welding crew at 3 a.m. Friday on Las Vegas Boulevard just south of the Strip.

Police identified the driver the Kia Soul that failed to change lanes and hit the first truck as Russell Slouffman Jr. of Las Vegas.

They said Slouffman was taken in critical condition to University Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Police say the cause of the crash is being investigated.
