Anderson, SC ; Stretch of Abbeville Highway blocked after crash on Tuesday morning, February 3, 2015

A portion of Abbeville Highway in Anderson County was closed Tuesday morning following a crash.
The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. near Flat Bridge Road.

Emergency dispatchers said a vehicle flipped over and one person inside the vehicle had to be mechanically extracted and was transported to the hospital with injuries.

Abbeville Highway was closed between Flat Bridge Road and Shiloh Church Road.

Dispatchers said crews expected the road to reopen by 7:30 a.m.

Troopers with the SC Highway Patrol are investigating the crash.
