Springfield, MO : Phillipsburg woman injured in wreck on Route A near Birch Road on Friday, April 22, 2016

A Phillipsburg woman was rushed to Springfield for treatment following a one-vehicle wreck on Friday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Clarence Gould, 43, of Phillipsburg, was driving his 2014 Chevrolet Silverado on Route A near Birch Road when at about 4:50 p.m., the truck went off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree and a concrete pad before stopping.

A passenger in the vehicle, 35-year-old Brianna Grimes, of Phillipsburg, received “moderate” injuries during the wreck. She was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Springfield for treatment, according to a MSHP crash report.

Gould received what was described as minor injuries. He refused treatment at the scene, the report states.

The report indicates that they were wearing seat belts.
