Concord, NH : A single-vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital on May, Monday 1st 2017
A single-vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital on Monday evening.
The crash occurred at 196 Bunker Hill Ave. shortly after 9 p.m.
According to Stratham Police Chief John Scippa, the Ford Focus wagon was traveling from North Hampton when the operator lost control and crashed over a stonewall in front of the house at 196 Bunker Hill Ave. and coming to rest on the front lawn.
Scippa said one of the vehicle’s occupants was ejected out of the sunroof of the vehicle and was pinned under a tree limb but was conscious when first responders arrived. The other passenger was able to exit the vehicle under his or her own power after the vehicle came to rest, according to Scippa.
The victims were both transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Their identities were not released and their statuses were unknown.
“Because of what we consider the, ‘first harmful act’ in the progression of the crash having occurred in North Hampton, the North Hampton Police Department will be conducting the crash investigation,” said Scippa. “But since the crash physically occurred in Stratham, the Stratham Fire Department is in charge of the crash scene.”
North Hampton police were still working to determine the cause of the crash.
