An 82-year-old Vici woman was injured Tuesday in a two-vehicle accident in Major County.
Verna Foust Liston, was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan., and admitted in stable condition with a leg injury, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 3:49 p.m. on U.S. 281 about 2 miles south of Chester.
According to the report, Liston was driving a 2013 Lexus SUV south on U.S. 281 when she went off the road to the right and hit a concrete barrier. Her vehicle then went back onto the highway and crossed the centerline, hitting a 2012 Kenworth driving by Charles Roscoe Davis, 43, of Fairview.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, according to the report. Seat belts were in use in both vehicles.
