Vancouver, WA : Two people injured in chain-reaction freeway crash on Saturday, March 26, 2016

Two people were hurt Saturday in a three-car crash on the ramp from state Highway 14 to southbound Interstate 5, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A WSP bulletin said the crash occurred at 11:15 a.m. when a 1992 Plymouth Acclaim driven by Helena R. Bernat, 97, of Camas struck the rear of a 2012 Nissan Versa that had slowed for traffic. The impact drove the Nissan into the car in front of it, a 2006 Pontiac G6.

Bernat was injured, as was the driver of the Nissan, Kayleigh R. Levick, 25, of Aurora, Colo., according to the WSP. The driver of the Pontiac, Richard L. Bacon, 60, of Ridgefield was not injured, the WSP said.

The WSP bulletin said Bernat was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, and Leveck was taken to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center. They were not listed on either hospital's public directory as of Saturday evening.
