Orange County, FL : Man on bicycle dies in Orange crash on Sunday, 2nd December 2018

A man was fatally hit by a pickup truck Sunday evening while riding his bicycle in Orange County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. on South Clayton Street and Elysium Boulevard, said FHP spokeswoman Lt. Kim Montes.

The cyclist was taken to Florida Hospital Waterman where he later died, Montes said.

Troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash and did not say if the truck driver was injured.
