PELHAM, MA : Serious Pelham crash injures two on Sunday, December 4th, 2016
A two-car crash at the intersection of Mammoth and Tallant roads sent two women, one of whom is pregnant, to the hospital Monday afternoon.
Sgt. Brian Barbato of the Pelham Police Department said a Honda Civic traveling on Tallant Road failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a Toyota Tundra as it passed on Mammoth Road.
Both the driver and the passenger in the Honda were taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua. The driver, a pregnant 26-year-old woman from Nashua, suffered serious injuries, Barbato said.
Her passenger, a 22-year-old woman from Lowell, suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, a 16-year-old boy from Pelham, was not injured, Barbato said. The names of those involved in the crash were not released by police.
The intersection was closed for about half an hour following the crash.
