TUSCARAWAS TWP, OH : One-vehicle crash kills Massillon man on Sunday, February 18th 2017

A Massillon man was killed early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Wooster Street NW.

Cody W. Mishler, 27, of 27th Street NW, was driving a Chevy S-10 pickup east on Wooster Street just after midnight when he lost control, according to a news release from the Canton Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Mishler, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle, the release said, when he drove off the left side of the roadway, then came back onto the road and overturned several times. The truck came to rest on the street.

Mishler was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries from the crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor, the patrol said.

The crash remains under investigation.
