Shelby , NC : One women killed in Crash after her car ran off the road and crashed into a ditch on Tuesday afternoon , March 3rd 2015

Emergency workers used the Jaws of Life to try to save a woman after her car ran off the road, crashed into a ditch and caught fire in Shelby Tuesday afternoon.

Police have not released the woman’s name who died in the wreck.

The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. on South Lafayette Street.
