Longmont, CO : Coroner IDs man killed in Longmont motorcycle crash on Sunday, January 1st 2017
The Boulder County Coroner's Office has identified the 66-year-old motorcyclist who died at Longmont United Hospital on Sunday after a collision with a vehicle as Douglas Seamon, of Longmont.
The Coroner's Office said an autopsy has been completed, but that the office's determination of the cause and manner of Seamon's death are pending further investigation.
Longmont police Sgt. Eric Lewis said on Monday that the police investigation into the Sunday afternoon crash is still underway and that he could not yet release the name of the driver of the SUV involved in the accident.
Lewis said on Sunday that the motorcycle was southbound on Main Street near Tenacity Drive when an SUV driven by a 65-year-old woman made a U-turn in front of the motorcycle.
Lewis did say on Monday that the woman driving the SUV was not from Longmont.
