Murfreesboro, TN : Man and woman killed in motorcycle crash on State Route 231 on Saturday evening, April 23, 2016

Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that happened Saturday evening on State Route 231.

A man and a woman riding a motorcycle were both killed when a vehicle traveling northbound crossed over dividing lanes hitting them head on.

Investigators spent most of the evening trying to find out what led to the crash.

"We hate it when anybody ever suffers a loss, obviously it s been a very involved and active scene we appreciate our partnerships with the local agencies. Even TDOT has come out to assist us with traffic, but again its always a tragedy when people lose their lives like this." says Sgt. Travis Plotzer of the Tennessee Highway Patrol
