NASHVILLE, TN : Woman killed in hit-and-run crash in Napier area on Wednesday, 8th November 2023

A woman was found dead at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Green Street right before Interstate 40 early Wednesday morning.

The Metro Nashville Police Department said the 60-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash. Police said someone saw her while they were driving by and called 911. She was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she died.

Investigators aren’t sure who hit the woman or why she was left at the intersection.
