DUNDALK, MD : Two motorcyclists have died after a crash on Friday, July 7, 2017
Two motorcyclists have died after a crash on the Baltimore Beltway that left four others injured.
Police have not identified the men who were killed except to say they lived in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. — one from Prince George’s County and one from Montgomery County.
Maryland State Police said they received a 911 call Friday after 11 p.m. about a crash involving motorcyclists.
Police say five motorcycles were traveling on the Inner Loop of the beltway near the Sparrows Point exit in Baltimore County when one motorcyclist lost control and hit the back of a moving construction vehicle. That caused a chain reaction leading the other four motorcyclists to crash.
The two fatalities were pronounced dead at the scene. The other four were taken to hospitals.
