Webster, FL : Two dead, two hurt after a head-on collision in Sumter County on U.S. 301 just south of SW 102nd Road on Monday, December 1, 2014

Alondra Vences, 10, of Lehigh Acres, died in a vehicle crash in Sumter County on Monday morning. Vences was riding in a vehicle driven by her grandmother - Maria Vences, 52, of Lehigh Acres. Maria Vences' 11-year-old daughter was also in the car and is at Arnold Palmer Hospital, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Their vehicle was headed north on US-301 south of SW 102nd Rd. Another vehicle was traveling south on US-301. For unknown reasons Vences' car crossed the centerline and into the southbound lane, according to FHP. The driver of the other vehicle - 43-year-old Kristie L. White from Bushnell - died at the scene. Vences was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital where she died later on Monday.
