LITTLE ROCK, AR : Five-vehicle wreck leaves one dead on Monday, December 5th, 2016
A five-vehicle accident resulted in the death of a Plainview man at approximately 6:25 a.m. on Monday near the intersection of State Highway 7 and State Highway 155 in Dardanelle.
According to an Arkansas State Police report, a 2003 Ford Focus, a 2011 GMC pickup driven by Donald Trampp, 38, of Parks, a 2015 Ford F-250 driven by Larry Ellis, 53, of Plainview and a 2002 Dodge Ram driven by Travis Quinn, 45, of Pencil Bluff, were traveing northbound on State Highway 7.
A 1998 Freightliner driven by Kelly Alexander, 53, of Searcy was traveling southbound on State Highway 7 when it traveled left of center and struck the driver’s side of the Ford Focus. The semi then overturned, striking the GMC in the driver’s side and continued in the ditch line hitting the Ford F-250 and Dodge Ram head on.
Ellis did not survive. The driver of the Focus did not sustain any injuries. Trampp, Quinn and Alexander were injured and taken to the River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle.
