Winter Haven, FL : Drunk driving suspected in Winter Haven crash on Sunday, 29th November, 2020

A Winter Haven man suspected of driving drunk veered into oncoming traffic and hit an SUV in a nearly had-on crash early Sunday that killed his 5-year-old son, left his 8-year-old son in critical condition, and killed the SUV driver, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the father, 27, crossed the center line of a two-lane road and hit the SUV; its driver, a 70-year-old man, was also from Winter Haven.
Charges are pending against the father, who was seriously hurt and remained in a hospital Monday, the FHP said.
