Middleburg, FL : 3 teens injured in ATV crashes in Middleburg on Monday, 30th March, 2020

Three teens suffered serious to critical injuries Monday night when the all-terrain vehicles they were riding on crashed on a dirt road in Middleburg, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 15-year-old girl, and a 14-year-old boy with a passenger the same age, were riding about 7:20 p.m. on Live Oak Lane when the crashes occurred, the Highway Patrol said. None of them was wearing a helmet, investigators said.

Ashlyn Macomber lost control of her ATV, causing it to overturn as she over-corrected, according to the FHP report. Eric Padgett swerved the second vehicle to avoid hitting her, causing his to rollover as well with passenger Alexander Cain. All are from Middleburg.
