MOUND CITY IL : 70-year-old pedestrian hit and killed by vehicle in Pulaski County, Illinois on Sunday, 23rd April 2023

A 70-year-old pedestrian is dead after a vehicle struck them near Illinois 37 and 6th Street.

Illinois state police officers responded to the crash at around 9:56 on April When they arrived, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pulaski County Coroner.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrian suffered no injuries.

This incident is still under investigation. More details will be released when they become available.
