DAVENPORT, IA : Student taken to hospital after school bus crash morning in Davenport on Monday, 14th October 2024

An SUV struck the side of a school bus Tuesday morning, but police said there were no injuries.

A school bus and an SUV collided at about 8:21 a.m. after both had stopped at stop signs in a construction zone at Central Park Avenue and Marquette Street, police said.

No injuries were reported among the driver and the seven students on the school bus and the two people in the SUV. Police said a parent took their teenage son to checked out medically but was not injured.

No citations have been issued.
