Ocala, FL : Minor injuries reported in three-vehicle accident on Sunday, January, 14th 2018

Ocala Fire Rescue and the Ocala Police Department responded to a three-vehicle crash with injuries Sunday afternoon at West Silver Springs Boulevard and Southwest 20th Avenue.

According to an OFR report , the crash, reported at 1:23 p.m., involved two SUVs and a four-door car. The report states both SUVs had “moderate damage” and the car had “intrusion to the passenger side of about two feet, but no passenger.”

The report also indicated that “additional transport was requested” for patients, but no information was immediately available on the extent of those injuries.

Following the accident, traffic on eastbound Silver Springs Boulevard was restricted to one lane.
