Chester ,MD : Two people killed and one injured in wrongway Crash after minivan crashed head on into another car on Sunday ,March 15th 2015
Maryland State Police say two people were killed and a third person was injured when a minivan traveling the wrong way on Route 50 in Chester crashed head on into another car.
It happened about 7:30 p.m. Sunday near the Kent Narrows Bridge. Troopers say a minivan driven by 25-year-old Richard Shebovsky of Chester was traveling the wrong way on Route 50.
Police say the minivan collided with a car driven by 58-year-old Sibasish Ghosh of Salisbury. Authorities say Sibasish Ghosh died at a local hospital. A passenger in his car, 54-year-old Shampa Ghosh of Salisbury, was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers don't know if the Ghoshes were related.
Shebovsky was flown Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
The crash is under investigation.
