Four people were taken to hospitals, one in critical condition, following a motor vehicle accident in Fallston Monday night, Harford County fire and rescue officials said.
The most critically injured person was transported by ambulance to a regional trauma center, according to the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association. That person victim was in better condition late Tuesday morning, the Maryland State Police reported.
Three others were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, according to a post on the association's media Facebook page.
The accident, which involved multiple vehicles and a rescue, occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Route 1 south of the intersection of Route 152, according to the Facebook post.
The intersection was shut down for a time following the accident, according to the Fire and EMS Association.
An accident report was not yet available Tuesday.
