LUCAS COUNTY, OH : 92-year-old dies after crash near Bono curve on Route 2 on Sunday, 21st January 2024

Route 2 had to be closed on Sunday evening due to a deadly crash east of Curtice in the eastern corner of Lucas County.

The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. at Lyons Rroad west of the Bono curve, according to Jerusalem Twp. Fire and Rescue.

Lyon Road is near Phantom Fireworks.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 23-year-old from Cleveland, Caleb Moore, was driving west on Route 2 when he went left of center, striking a car being driven by Terry Miller, 67, of Curtice head on.
