Ridgecrest,CA : Multiple injuries in Tuesday collision on Inyokern Road on February, Tuesday 6th 2018

Multiple people were transported to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital for minor to moderate injuries following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning at the intersection of Calvert and West Inyokern roads.

According to California Highway Patrol, a white minivan was preparing to turn left on to Inyokern Road from Calvert Road when an Oldsmobile in traveling eastbound on Inyokern Road was approaching.

The driver of the minivan did not see the Oldsmobile and hit the vehicle head-on.

Ridgecrest Police Department, Kern County Fire Engines 73 and 74 also responded to the scene. Caltrans redirected eastbound traffic on to the right shoulder until the vehicles could be removed from the roadway.
