Boulder, CO : Longmont man dies in single vehicle crash on Saturday, March 4th 2017

A Longmont man died following a single vehicle crash in east Longmont on Saturday evening.

Longmont Police Sgt. John Wederquist said that the man had exited Deerwood Drive and was northbound on County Line Road when he struck a raised median and rolled his vehicle.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 9 p.m., Wederquist said.

He said that alcohol and drugs are not considered factors in the crash, and witnesses said that the man did not appear to be speeding. The traffic unit is investigating the crash.

Police did not release the man's name, but Wederquist said the man was about 60-years-old and a Longmont resident.
