Clrveland ,OH : Man hit by car after jumping onto another car on early Saturday morning ,August 15th 2015

A man was run over by a car after throwing himself onto another moving vehicle on the city's east side early Saturday morning.

Leonard D. Bell, 52, was walking down the middle of East 131st Street, just south of Hlavin Avenue, around 1:35.

A 2007 Dodge Charger was heading in the same direction, when the driver noticed Bell in the roadway and changed lanes to avoid him.

Police say Bell then jumped on the left fender of the moving Charger, hitting the windshield and rolling of the vehicle onto the road.

At that time, a second vehicle, a 2004 Dodge Stratus, was also driving northbound on East 131st Street and ran over Bell as he was lying in the road.

There is no word on Bell's condition or why he jumped at the moving vehicle.

The accident remains under investigation.
