Paris,TX : Wrecks see three injured on April, Saturday 14th 2018

Two traffic-stopping wrecks happened yesterday in Lamar County.

The first happened at 7 a.m. on Hwy. 82 East, between Blossom and Detroit. In the wreck, 24-year-old Andrew Rougex was eastbound from Detroit, when he fell asleep at the wheel and veered into the other lane, hitting the other vehicle head-on. He was taken by ambulance to Paris Regional Medical Center and, according to Mark Tackett, with the Texas Department of Public Safety, was released on Saturday.
