Goshen,OH : 4-year-old killed in Goshen crash on June, Tuesday 6th 2017

A young girl died in a single-vehicle Clermont County crash Monday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Crews responded to Fay Road west of Ohio 48 in Goshen Township about 5 p.m., patrol officials said in a prepared statement.

A preliminary investigation determined the driver of a 2007 Lincoln MKX heading westbound on Fay Road drove off the right side of the road, and the vehicle struck a tree, patrol officials said.

Mechanical assistance was required to free the driver, Vivian A. Miracle, 24, of Goshen, and her backseat passenger, Aliyah R. Miracle, 4, according to the state patrol.

Goshen Township EMS transported Vivian Miracle to Bethesda North Hospital.She suffered "incapacitating injuries," patrol officials said in their statement.

Aliyah Miracle also was taken to Bethesda North, where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.

Both wore their seatbelts, troopers said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
