Oklahoma City police are investigating a hit-and-run auto-pedestrian crash Tuesday night.
The crash was reported around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Sheridan and Western.
Police said the accident started as a fight between homeless people. One of the men involved in the fight was hit by oncoming traffic.
Police said the man who was hit is in critical condition at a hospital. The driver of the vehicle that hit him fled the scene, and is now in custody, police said.
The driver was found near Northwest 6th and Dewey.
