Lubbock,TX : DPS IDs driver in one-vehicle crash in Dickens County on December, Sunday 10th 2017

One person is dead after a fatal crash in Dickens County on Sunday evening.

The Texas Department of Public Safety was out working the crash that happened at approximately 4:30 p.m., said DPS Sgt. John Gonzalez.

A one-vehicle crash occurred about two miles north of the City of Dickens on U.S. 70, he said.

“Preliminary investigation indicates a Ford pickup was traveling northbound on U.S. 70 when it traveled across the southbound lanes,” said Gonzalez. “The vehicle continued into the ditch striking a concrete culvert.”
