Blackfoot, ID : Two-vehicle crash, semi driver sent to hospital Highway 15 on August 22 2015

Police say two vehicles collided on Highway 15, one being a semi-truck, and one driver was sent to the hospital.
Daniel Summers, 22, was heading northbound on the highway when he swerved into the left lane to avoid crashing into a semi-truck. Officers say instead Summers lost control of his car and hit the driver side of the semi.
ISP says after hitting the semi, Summers' car, a 2006 Hyundai Elantra, slid off the shoulder. The semi then slid off the left shoulder, overturned and stopped on its side.
Police say the driver of the semi, Brent Cooper, 62, was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Summers was wearing a seatbelt. The crash is still under investigation.
