A Rochester woman was injured Wednesday when the vehicle she was riding in lost control on U.S. 52.Laura B. Schaffer, 27, suffered non-life threatening injuries at 6:25 p.m. when Paul Leiferman, 50, ran his car into the bridge wall near the 2nd Street Southwest intersection, according to the Minnesota State Patrol report. The Rochester man was southbound at the time of the crash, but was not injured.
Schaffer was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System - Saint Marys campus for medical care.
