Marathon Township, MI : 56-year-old man dies after off-road vehicle crash in Lapeer County on Saturday, October 11, 2014

Authorities say a 56-year-old man has died following an off-road vehicle crash in Lapeer County. The sheriff's department says Kelvin Retherford of Otter Lake lost control of the vehicle around 8 p.m. Saturday. The department says it hit some brush and rolled onto him in Marathon Township. Retherford was taken to a hospital, where the department says he died. The crash about 60 miles northwest of Detroit is under investigation.
