Parkland, FL : Boca Raton man dies in rollover crash near North University Drive on Sunday afternoon, May 8, 2016

A Boca Raton man died after being ejected from an SUV during a rollover crash, the Broward Sheriff's Office said Monday.

Kelly Rider, 35, was in a Ford Explorer on Sunday afternoon that was being driven by Laura Haggerty, 46, also of Boca Raton. They were traveling east along Loxahatchee Road near North University Drive when the truck's passenger side tires drifted off the road, the sheriff's office said.

The truck moved across Loxahatchee Road, collided with a guardrail on the north side of the byway and began to spin before rolling over, according to the agency.

Rider was not wearing a seat belt before he was ejected from the SUV, according to the sheriff's office, and Coral Springs Fire Rescue pronounced him dead at the scene.
