OXFORD, ME : Man killed in a crash in Oxford on Thursday, August 24, 2017

Police have identified the man killed in a crash in Oxford on Thursday evening.

Cedric Palmer Jr., 26, of Otisfield, was killed when he lost control of the car and hit a utility police, Oxford Police Jonathan Tibbetts said.

Police said Palmer was headed toward Mechanic Falls around 10:15 p.m.

Palmer's passenger, Eric Knapik, 26 of Oxford, was taken to the hospital.

No other information was released.
