MINOT, ND : Driver killed, passenger seriously injured in OHV crash at North Dakota State Fairgrounds in Minot on Sunday, 1st August 2021

The driver of an off-highway vehicle was killed early Sunday, Aug. 1, in a rollover crash at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds in Minot.

At approximately 12:40 a.m. Sunday, the Polaris OHV was traveling through the parking lot when it swerved and struck an unoccupied, parked 2019 Hyundai Elantra. The Polaris overturned and the male driver, Jamie Scott, 42, and the female passenger, Colleen Scott, 41, both from Mandan, North Dakota, were ejected. The driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger sustained serious injuries that were not life-threatening and was taken by ambulance to Trinity Hospital.

This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol
