Monett, MO : Three people were injured in a wreck on Wednesday, December, 27th 2017
Three people were injured Wednesday in a wreck at 2:25 p.m. on Highway 39, four miles north of Aurora.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jennifer Lampe, 38, of Mt. Vernon, was driving a 2007 Ford Fusion southbound when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2012 Toyota Sequoia, driven by Matthias Amberg, 53, of Reeds Spring. After impact, Lampe's vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and came to rest east of the road. Amberg's vehicle went right off the roadway and also came to rest on the east side of the highway.
Lampe suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Amberg suffered minor injuries. A passenger in his vehicle, Daniel Amberg, 17, of Reeds Spring, suffered moderate injuries. Both men were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Lampe was wearing a safety device, and neither of the Ambergs were. The Ford was totaled, and the Toyota sustained extensive damage.
