Rochester, N.H : New Hampshire man died after being hit by a vehicle on Route 11/Farmington Road on Thursday morning, May 7, 2015
Police say a bicyclist has been struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Rochester, New Hampshire.
Police said the man was hit at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday on Route 11 in the area of the on-ramp to Route 16. They found him dead on the shoulder of the road beside a guardrail, with his damaged bicycle nearby. There was debris scattered along the on-ramp from the vehicle.
Police said they believe they found the car later Thursday. No arrests have been made.
Police are not releasing the name of the man, pending notification of family.
They are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and anyone who may have information on what happened to contact the department.
