Granville, OH : 29-year-old Ohio National Guardsman was dead after a hit and run on Friday evening August 29th 2014
Funeral services are scheduled for a 29-year-old Ohio National Guardsman who was hit and killed while changing a flat tire on the side of an interstate highway.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Nathan Richeson was killed on Interstate 77, just south of Interstate 70 in eastern Ohio at about 5 p.m. Friday. The patrol says Richeson was changing a tire when another driver lost control and hit him.
The Advocate reports that Richeson was declared dead at the scene. Charges against the driver are possible.
According to an online obituary, Richeson was an Ohio University graduate and a captain in the Ohio Air National Guard 121st Air Refueling Wing at Rickenbacker Air Force Base in Columbus.
His funeral is scheduled for Tuesday in his Granville hometown.
