NEWPORT CENTER, VT : 1 dead after crash in Newport Center on Sunday, 10th November 2024

One man is dead after a single-car crash in Newport Center.

Vermont State Police say it happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday.

They say Christopher Kirsch, 20, of Troy, was headed east on Searles Rd. when he crossed the westbound lane and went off the side of the road. Troopers say the car hit several trees before overturning.

Crews pronounced Kirsch dead at the scene.
