Berkeley, CA : Bus crashes after leaving LaSalette on Saturday, 1st December 2018

When firefighters arrived at the scene of a motor vehicle crash they weren’t expecting to find a school bus of adults and children returning from a trip to LaSalette in Attleboro.

Berkley Fire Chief Scott Fournier said when he arrived on the scene on Interstate 24 south in Berkley, by exit 1, on Saturday, he quickly assessed the situation and decided to call for a Mass Casualty Incident response, including an ambulance task force.

He said when the call came in for a multiple vehicle crash on highway, he responded with along with two firefighters because his two ambulances were already out on other calls. He was met at the scene by Brewster Ambulance and fire equipment from the city of Taunton.
