Pittsburgh, PA : Woman killed in a crash in western Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 30, 2016

Authorities in western Pennsylvania have released the name of a woman killed in a crash near Pittsburgh in a vehicle she had reportedly stolen earlier.

The Allegheny County medical examiner's office said 37-year-old Cory Dee of Tarentum died in the crash a little more than two miles away from where the car owner said it was taken.

Police in Plum said a man reported picking Dee up as she was walking along Coxcomb Hill, also known as Route 909, at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Sgt. Jay Kapusta said the car was taken after he stopped at a convenience store in New Kensington.

Kapusta said the wreck along the winding, hilly road was spotted at about 6:30 a.m. but the car may have gone off the road during the night.
