Lynchburg, VA : Timothy M. Kress, 34, injured after motorcycle crash on Breezewood Drive on Friday afternoon, April 24, 2015

A man is in critical condition at Lynchburg General Hospital following a motorcycle wreck Friday afternoon on Breezewood Drive.

Just before 3:30 p.m., Lynchburg Police along with fire and EMS responded to the 100 block of Breezewood Drive for a wreck involving a 2001 Kawasaki ZR750 motorcycle.

Timothy M. Kress, 34, of Lynchburg, was taken to the hospital.

The initial investigation showed Kress was driving the motorcycle when the bike ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to a news release.
